Domestic & minor commercial building disputesA domestic / commercial building dispute is a claim or dispute arising between a building owner and/or building contractors and/or professional in the building industry (eg architect or engineer) or if you have a complaint in contract, negligence, nuisance or trespass relating to the performance of commercial or domestic building work.
Review a decision of the QBSAA review application is started against the Queensland Building Services Authority by any person affected by a reviewable QBSA decision.
Disciplinary & debt recoveryA disciplinary application is started by the Queensland Building Services Authority for the tribunal to decide whether proper grounds exist for taking disciplinary action against a licensed or unlicensed contractor and whether to impose a penalty, if the tribunal finds that proper grounds do exist.
A debt recovery application is started by the Queensland Building Services Authority to recover a debt considered owing under the Queensland Building Services Authority Act 1991.
